A Conversation with Katie Boyd Britt

An Alabama native and former corporate attorney, Katie Boyd Britt also served on the Washington, D.C. staff of Senator Richard Shelby – first, as the youngest press secretary in the U.S. Senate, and then as Sen. Shelby’s Chief of Staff. Katie was named Business Council of Alabama’s first woman president in 2019 and leads the organization’s efforts to support business growth in Alabama and represent the interests and concerns of nearly 1 million working Alabamians.
